Natural vs Synthetic Stones

• Slabs which are used for today’s production purposes can be classified under two main categories. These two are commonly referred to as natural and synthetic stone. Both are further divided; natural stone by type and synthetic by manufacturer. 
• 
  There are no real limitations or restrictions with regards to a specific function that a particular material should serve.  However, there are certain guidelines which we like to make our clients aware of, due to the fact that there are positive and negative aspects pertaining to each and every one of those materials. 
  For instance, due to its endless beauty, natural stone is a very appealing choice in commercial and residential application.  However, for the most part, it does come with a cost of maintenance due to its porosity.  
  
  Synthetic stone, on the other hand, will most likely find its home as a conjunction to a modern interior design.  However, beware of exposing it to extreme heat.
