There are three phases which make up the entire process of production of a counter top.  At World Stone we wholeheartedly believe that none of them is less important than the other.

Templating

 

As with every other trade, preparation is an extremely important step in case of production of your future counter top.  Almost every single kitchen counter top which we manufacture has a cardboard template prepared for it.

There are several reasons for this course of action, and they all have to do with the service which we aim to provide.  The primary motive would be to see and analyze the actual replica of their future counter tops, before they go into production.  As natural stone, or quartz, can be relatively expensive we want to make sure that our customers see, in real life, what will be fabricated and installed in their house within the following several days. 

We have been getting an amazing response from our clients who really appreciate the time we invest in preparation of these templates. 

From our years of experience we know that a lot of individuals have a rather difficult time understanding and/or visualizing technical drawings presented to them on paper or on a computer generated image.  A cardboard template, on the other hand, completely eliminates this problem as the contour of every single counter is exhibited in a 1:1 scale for their final approval. 

Another very important reason is such that a properly prepared template, in contrast to measurements, virtually eliminates possibility of making a mistake.  Consequently we avoid any delays in production and delivery of your new counter top. 

Since we are almost the last trade who will be providing you with their services, we will go out of our way to make sure that the long awaited finish of your project will smoothly come to a happy end.

Fabrication

You can be rest assured that at World Stone the entire production process, as well as the labor itself, is in hands of true professionals. 

As with every operation, where there are many individuals involved in production of goods, it is extremely important that everybody works as part of a team.  This leads to a positive working environment and ultimately allows us to deliver a very accurate and high quality workmanship. 

We have very well established systems of communication and double checking each other’s work throughout our entire team.  This further prevents any potential errors and increases our quality control throughout the entire manufacturing course. 

We also invest a lot of time in research and selection of tools we purchase to get your project completed to perfection. 

Unfortunately, due to various mineral compositions of various rocks, it is impossible to simply apply the same set of tools to every single application.  Although it is a common trend practiced by many of our competitors we do not believe that this is an ethical thing to do.  Even though the results of such actions may not necessarily be visible right away, they will most likely exhibit themselves in the future. 

As a result of all the issues mentioned above and due to the dynamic scope of projects which we are faced with on a daily basis all the employees at World Stone constantly improve their skills to face all the challenges at hand. 

Routine can be a very dangerous thing if not supported effectively by experience and proper knowledge.

Installation

A chain is as strong as its weakest link. 

This expression could not be more valid when it comes to installation of your beautiful new counter top. 

All the effort that the client has put into into finding their perfect stone, as well as the time committed by us throughout the production process can be put to waste by an improper handling and installation. 

Once again, positive attitude and proper communication among our team plays a very critical role in this phase.  Each job, being very unique, does come with its own nuances. 

A lot of these details have to be conveyed to the installers as they are the people who will be coming to your house and putting the final touch on your order.
